JAM Vocal Foundation is a Montreal run OSBL serving a diversely linguistic and cultural population. We provides diverse curriculum to prepare, and equip each youth to excel in their artistic field. We use the arts, to motivate and convey positive learning messages, supporting healthy living habits and team work, in ways which evoke and sustain participant interest and involvement.
Our programs vary from Vocal and artist development to improvisation, stage performance, showcase preparation, masterclasses, choral singing, music theory, Image and Branding, studio recording and vocal history. 90% of our attends go on to a professional level in the music industry while others simply enjoy the self- expressive, creative, and educational benefits of singing.
We are committed to fostering life skills, self-esteem and strengthening interpersonal skills through a variety of youth programs and workshops. Our board, staff and volunteers are dedicated to offering equal opportunity and inclusion to all.

Jam Vocal Foundation’s project generates impactful outputs, including regular Artistic Showcases, highlighting the artistic prowess cultivated in specialized programs. Participation Metrics offer quantifiable insights into marginalized youth engagement in vocal and artist development, fostering choral singing, and more. The project delivers tangible Inclusive Research Findings, addressing unique challenges faced by Black communities and promoting positive change. Through a podcast platform, Digital Intelligence Access empowers youth, enhancing self-expression, public speaking skills, and self-affirmation. Empowerment Metrics gauge enhanced life skills, self-esteem, and strengthened interpersonal skills. Cultural Preservation Initiatives, such as Africentric worldview integration, contribute to preserving African values. The Therapeutic Arts Impact provides tangible evidence of the healing effect on at-risk, traumatized, and justice-involved youth. Collectively, these outputs signify Jam Vocal Foundation’s transformative contribution, enriching Black individuals within vulnerable groups and the broader community’s cultural fabric.
